Department of Neurological Rehabilitation
It is a key department of the hospital, focusing on diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, brain traumas, cervical spondylosis and vegetative state. Meanwhile, it undertakes the rehabilitation work for the patients who suffer from cerebral palsy or have received brain tumor surgery, stereotactic surgery, etc, including motor function rehabilitation, speech function rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, psychological rehabilitation, etc. The department is staffed with more than 50 rehabilitation physicians, nurses and technologists.
Feature 1: Wide range of diagnosis and treatment. It involves the rehabilitation of various nervous system diseases, such as vegetative state, cerebrovascular diseases, cerebral palsy, paralysis after brain trauma etc.
Feature 2: Complete equipment. It has the hyperbaric oxygenation system, weight loss gait training system, nervous function reconstruction system, speech disorder treatment apparatuses, cerebral circulation therapy equipment, nerve damage therapy devices, anti-convulsion therapy apparatuses, circular compression garments etc.
Feature 3: New rehabilitation concepts. It makes use of Bobath therapy, Rood therapy, Ayres technology, conductive education (CE), motor relearning therapy, mandatory exercise training techniques, meditation exercise training techniques, joint mobilization techniques, bio-feedback techniques, balance and motor coordination training, weight loss gait training, occupational therapy, medical gymnastics, etc.
